Mark has coached me for almost 5 years from being a beginner runner to a 2:38 marathon and Blackall 100km win. Mark's talent is not only in his training knowledge, but also how he fosters my self belief. He's not scared to give me hard work however, his number 1 priority has always been to get me to the start line fit, healthy and injury free. I have been able to consistently enjoy running while balancing work and family commitments. I'd highly recommend Mark as a coach!

I started working with Mark just a couple of months ago as I was coming back from a long term injury. Working with Mark as my coach has been a game changer for my running journey. In just three months (my first block with Mark), he helped me take 30 minutes off my marathon time, something I didn’t think possible in such a short timespan. Beyond that, he’s guided me through some milestones, including running my very first ultra marathon and most recently completing a 100km ultra. During that training block, I also managed to hit personal bests in both the 5K and 10K, which is a true testament to how well he structures his training plans. Mark is not only a knowledgeable coach across all distances, but he’s also passionate about what he does. You can tell he genuinely cares about his athletes and really enjoys seeing them hit their goals. He’s always present, supportive, and quick to offer advice or encouragement when it’s needed. Coming back to running after a string of injuries, the greatest achievement working with Mark has been our consistency. Three years without injuries now while notching several big PBs and a first marathon under 3 hours along the way! Mark makes an incredible effort to understand how running fits into your life, what your own goals are and making training truly enjoyable. It's his real secret to making athletes successful and consistent.
